Shaoxing, China, December 9, 2018 – Zhejiang Women's Volleyball Club recorded its second win in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship, following their 3-1 win over Supreme Chonburi.
Zhejiang Women's Volleyball Club coach Wang Hebin: "We had a good performance today. I am satisfied that the team tried to play their best in each match. We will try to cultivate younger athletes and improve on their strength. I hope we can have a chance to compete in this tournament again."
Zhejiang Women's Volleyball Club player Liu Yanhan: "I am very happy to participate in this competition. It's a wonderful chance for all of us to compete against so many strong teams. We have gained a lot of knowledge and experience, which can help improve our skills.
"If I have to rate my own performance in this competition, I would say I played at 80 per cent. I showed my best level of volleyball. However, there is still room for improvement."
Supreme Chonburi coach Nataphon Srisamutnak: "I am satisfied with my team's performance but not satisfied with the result. Zhejiang played very good today, especially No. 1 (Yang Hanyu) and No. 9 (Liu Yanhan). They are very good in attack and block. The setter also performed well, making it easy for her attackers to score. We found a lot of mistakes in our play and we will try to work on it."
Supreme Chonburi captain Wilavan Apinyanpong: "Our team played very well, but we had a lot of mistakes in some aspects. This game is good for our young players in playing against taller blockers. This is a big game for us, giving the players an opportunity to see action in the match. This is their first time and they are all excited."
