Shaoxing, China, December 4, 2018 - Brazil's Praia Clube take on Altay Volleyball Club from Kazakhstan in their second match of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship on Wednesday.
Head-to-Head· Praia Clube and Altay Volleyball Clube meet for the first at the Club World Championship as both teams are participating for the first time.
· A Brazilian team and a Kazakh team meet for the first time in the competition.
Praia Clube· Club World Championship debutants Praia Clube beat Supreme Chonburi 3-0 in their tournament opener on Tuesday.
· The last debutants to win their first two Club World Championship matches both in straight sets were Vakibank in 2011. Vakibank went on to finish runners-up that year.
· Ana Carolina Da Silva and Fernanda Rodrigues both scored 13 points in Praia Clube's opening win, more than any other player.
Altay Volleyball Club· Tournament debutants Altay Volleyball Club started their 2018 Club World Championship campaign with a straight-sets defeat against Eczacibasi VitrA on Tuesday.
· No team has ever won the World Club Championship after a 3-0 defeat in their opening match.
· Natalya Mammadova scored 10 of Altay Volleyball Club's 36 points in their 3-0 opening defeat (28%).
