Praia Clube (BRA)

The reigning Brazil champions make their debut appearance in the 2018 FIVB Club World Championship this year.
The club, founded in 2008, is based in the city of Uberlandia, in the state of Minas Gerais.
Praia Clube's 2018 national title was their first ever in the competition, though previously they had been runners-up in 2016 and bronze medallists in 2017. After topping the Regular Season, Dentil/Praia Clube went on to edge Rexona-Sesc Rio de Janeiro in a golden set to decide the home-and-away final series that was locked at 1-1.
Last year they finished runners-up to Rexona-Sesc of Rio de Janeiro in the South American Club Championship, after losing in the final in four sets at home in Uberlândia.
